NetID: Setting Your Password the First Time

Introduction

Before you can log in to any Biola systems or services, you need to set your NetID password.

This applies to new employees, new students, and alumni who have never logged in to Biola's current systems.

This page explains the steps for setting your NetID password for the first time.

How to Set Your NetID Password for the First Time

1 Go to login.biola.edu/first-time.

Type in your NetID or Biola ID number, and click Go.

Finding Your Biola ID Number

New Students: You will receive your Biola ID number in an email from the Admissions office approximately one week after your acceptance letter.

New Employees: You should have received your ID Number from Human Resources.

3 Fill out the form to verify your identity, then click Go.

Choose 3 security questions, then click Go.

Note: You will be prompted to answer these 3 questions in the event that you forget your NetID or password in the future.

Enter a personal email address, then click Go.

Note: This email address will only be used if we need to help you recover a password in the future.

6 Read the list of rules. These specify what kind of password the system will allow.
7 Type a new password into both fields, and click Go.
